Animal Farm
"Animal Farm" was the theater department's spring production, winning two Cappies Awards! I worked as the Head Electrician, hanging, circuiting, focusing, and generally making work the many lighting fixtures for the show. I also was brought in as the programmer for the show, working under the designer to cue. The show required an additional 11 lighting positions be created, a particular challenge - and a great success. Of course, this also presented difficulty for hanging and circuiting all the fixtures, especially ones visible by the audience. Furthermore, we used some fixtures from well before I was born - and they looked great! I had to be careful so I would not blow the circuits or dimmers given the power draw of the fixtures. Take a look below to see photos of the work completed.

Old Fixtures We Used
These were used as blinders and for the set to gain some dimension, and were quite a challenge. There were 6 total lights mounted on the set.
Mounted Lights
These blinders were all notes added later into tech, and were challenging (power had to come from the ceiling) and had to be used carefully to avoid a blown circuit.
Booms (All Installed for the Show)
Each of these tall poles are booms for side light on the actors. We installed 11 around the room, a great look despite the challenge to install.Â
